Hi, my name is Kayleen. I'm the artist behind Colorful Narrative.

 In 2023, I was having a really hard time in life mentally & financially. I started reading in an attempt to silence my mind & escape reality. Not only did reading help my anxiety, but I was able to draw strength from the characters and stories. In addition, something about reading unlocked the creativity inside of me. It expanded my imagination and made me want to create!

 As I was scrolling Tiktok one day, I saw a video of another reader spraying her copy of Fourth Wing. I thought “THAT'S IT! That's exactly what I want to do!”.

 It seems it was the answer to my prayers since I already had everything on hand to spray some books, along with a few unread books. So I sprayed them and was very pleased with how pretty they turned out!

 I posted them on Mercari not thinking anyone would even care, let alone buy them. THEY ALL SOLD WITHIN A FEW DAYS! I used that money to purchase a few more books & some supplies, then I was open for business. 

 After a successful year, I decided to start taking orders for custom sprayed edges. I have the best customers in the world! I feel so blessed to be able to bring some joy into their lives by working with them to make their most cherished books extra special. Or, creating the most perfect & unique gift for someone they love.

Because of you, I am able to wake up everyday and serve our bookish community in a way that, hopefully, brings a bit more joy into this world.
